Biography: Todd Hughes is the Director of The Language Center and a Senior Lecturer in Spanish at Vanderbilt University, where he oversees the integration of technology into the curricula of fifteen modern language programs. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania with an emphasis on Second Language Acquisition and Spanish Peninsular Literature. Todd is fluent in Spanish. He directs TEP's Latino initiative: Transformación, Equilibrio, Progreso. He is the Secretary for the Nashville Grizzlies Rugby Football Club, where he makes occasional appearances on the field "in the pack." He is a Roman Catholic and attends Our Lady of the Lake Church in Hendersonville.
